Hello, my name is Jesse Singh and I am a recently graduated Management Engineering student from the University of Waterloo. What is Management Engineering you may ask? Management Engineering undergraduates combine the use of analytical methods, information systems and behavioural science to study, analyze and lead projects in interdisciplinary organizations. In brief, we focus on improving the efficiency and quality of operations in any industry ranging from Healthcare, to any sort of Software/Hardware related field.

Position: Program Manager
- Wrote and executed Python, Bash and Batch scripts for testing mobile applications on android devices
- Discovered and debugged system issues on Bluetooth/Wi-Fi testing infrastructures
- Automated Bluetooth/Wi-fi Coexistence test scripts, resulting in improved feedback turnaround time to the development team

PepsiCo Foods Canada is the largest distributer and producers of snack foods items in Canada. Ranging from Brands such as Frito Lays to Quaker Oats, PepsiCo Foods has been established itself as a dominant contender in the snack food market.
Position: Data Analyst
- Discovered bugs and developed solutions in the internal inventory tracking system
- Analyzed seasonality market trends on consumer products and developed “trending data reports” using Microsoft Excel/ SQL
- Automated production line data analysis by compiling up to 500 data logs into a single readable format
- Tracked/ evaluated product growth data and presented results in bi-weekly update meetings

- Analyzed the validity of LEAN initiatives to confirm the feasibility of the proposals
- Designed and implemented 5S, Six Sigma and visual management processes
- Presented LEAN model thinking to different engineering teams, departments and clients

MorHeat manufactures premium plastic melt pressure transducers to replace units from BRAND-D, ISI, Gefran, GP50, and Gentran. Standard features such as Inconel Diaphragms, and optional coatings including our Diamond Particulate Tip make MorHeat one of the leading expers in Melt pressure Transducers.
Position:Lab Technician
- Performed quality assurance analysis for circuit boards using lab equipment
- Troubleshot and repaired digital display boards for pressure heating units

Rasberry Pi Touch screen Bluetooth Adapter
My Contribution:

- Amalgamated Rasberry Pi Unit with TouchScreen and Controller Board
Overview:
If you have ever plugged your phone into a speaker system in order to play songs from your phone, you can understand how much of a pain that can be. This project uses a Rasberry Pi, along with a few accessories such as an LCD screen and a Bluetooth Dongle in order to fix this issue. By creating a few scripts for the BT Dongle, along with creating a customized kernel for the touchscreen, you can convert any speakers to have Bluetooth capabilities!

My Contribution:
- App purpose is simplify the creation/sharing of events
- App uses NLP to process text into possible events
- Built UI/UX Design of Application
- Assisted team in training data for NLP algorithm
Overview:
This project was done for the Fourth Year Design Project at the University of Waterloo. This concept was started in September 2014 and finished in May 2015. The purpose of this application is aimed to simplify the creation of events for android devices. By copying text from any source, our application can process the raw text data and find possible events using a natural language processing algorithm. Keep an eye out, this will be released on the PlayStore very soon!
